THE DIVA-LISHOUS JAZZ SHOWCASE
@ VEGAN VILLAGE INTERNET CAFE / JEWEL'S CATCH ONE | 7-11 PM 1 Saturday per month or Sunday 6PM-10PM.

DIVA-LISHOUS is a two to 3 hour Jazz Vocal Showcase. The Showcase consists of 4-6 vocalists each performing a 20-30 minute set accompanied by our house jazz band (piano, bass, drums and horn optional). Each vocalist will have the opportunity to do a sound check and/ rehearse 15 minutes with the band on the day of performance.

Showcase Entry Requirements:

Participating performers MUST pre-sale a MINIMUM of 15 tickets each to participate in the Showcase. Tickets are $10 per person. (Ticket sales go toward promotional materials, filming, band costs and restaurant fees). Performers will receive 40 % of all their individual ticket sales over the first 15 that are required. Each performer will receive a guarantee of a minimum of $50 if they meet their presale requirement.

You are required to post your showcase date on you’re my space, facebook, any other social networks to which you belong, and to distribute it to your mailing list.

What To Expect from the Showcase:

Each performer will receive a jpeg flyer to promote their showcase on the internet or to have reproduced for distribution to their fan base.
Each performer will have an opportunity to showcase your talent with a live accomplished jazz trio.
Each performer may display and sell any current promotional materials at the showcase.

Showcase Date & Time:

We will host a Diva-Lishous showcase 1 Saturday night per month at 7PM or special Showcase performance nights in Jewel's Catch One on scheduled Sundays from at 6PM.

Performance Location:

The Diva-Lishous Jazz Showcase will take place at Vegan Village Internet Cafe / Jewel's Catch One . We are located at 4067 West Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA. 90019. Our establishment can hold approximately 150-300 people inside the restaurant seated and standing. A fully stocked bar as well as a full dining menu is available to all of our patrons.

Terms & Conditions:

There are no restrictions on experience level. However, a professional & great stage presence is expected. Bands understand that by applying for & booking a spot in the showcase, the Venue is NOT responsible for any lack of ticket sales on the bands' part, per the minimum requirements. The Venue DOES have the right to cancel your performance based on these conditions. We expect you to be prepared & excessive promoting of the show is encouraged, as long as they fit within our guidelines (NO spamming online, etc.).
