  6. In today’s economy music has to be promoted differently by the musician. If you are going to perform then why not perform at a place where when you leave you are armed with the right stuff to present your music at the next level? Choose Plan 1 or choose Plan 2 either way you’re right.

What is your current plan?

– Honestly what is your plan for taking your music to the next level? By choosing Plan 1 or Plan 2 you take away from your Palmer Room performance the tools necessary to self promote in a spectacular way on the web. Our 3 camera shoot is fed live over the WWW and is captured for you as truly amazing media.

Your music will be presented via the WWW in a professional 3 camera shoot fading in and out blending from one camera to another with each performer and musician connected via microphone and fed thru our mixer and then onto the WWW and recorded on your DVD.

Our VIP Electronic Press Kit and Internet Ad Campaign are created by media professionals enabling you to leverage the various web sites where your music should be presented. Our professional photographer uses a most impressive looking camera combined with a sharp eye for the dramatic to capture your performance with rich media ready to morph into your music presentations.

If your plan is to continue doing what you have been doing then you will achieve the same results. At The Palmer Room we have invested heavily in our ability to change the way you self promote. As part of our commitment to put on the best concert series in the LA area, we are now ready to book bands and solo artists that give a great live performance and bands and solo artists that give a great live performance. If your band or you as a solo artist are interested in playing gigs on a regular bases please fill the application below.
Friday Nights: You can only choose 1 of the packages below. These shows are for
ALL AGES. If you choose more than one your form will not be sent to us.
A) Friday Night Plan 1
  • 45 minute set on any Friday night (you must presale at least 30 tickets)
    ° The scale is once you reach 30 people who have decided to pay $10 to see you perform you will receive 30% of your door
    ° If you presale 50 or more tickets you will receive 50% of your door
    ° If you are able to presale 75 tickets you will receive 75% of your door

  • DVD of your entire performance and an electronic flyer enabling you to promote yourselves for this event.
  • Sell your merchandise
  • Your event will be broadcast live (in real time) over the WWW enabling family, friends and fans all over the world to catch your performance
  • You will also receive free of charge the same for the band you booked. It up to you to determine if you want to give the band you booked their DVD for free or sell it to them, but we give it to you without charge.
B) Friday Night Plan 2
  • Book at least 5 additional bands with you taking the headliners spot
  • You will be given the headlining 45 minute spot
  • Opening bands will be given 30 minute spots each
  • Presales for this event start at 50 for the headliner band
  • 30 each for the 5 opening bands
  • You keep 100% of the door for the 50 tickets you sell (all 50 must show up)
  • Palmer Room keeps the door from the 30 tickets sold by the other 5 bands
  • You keep the revenue from ticket sales exceeding 30 each by the other 5 bands
  • DVD of your entire performance and an electronic flyer enabling you to promote yourselves for this event
  • Sell your merchandise
  • Your event will be broadcast live (in real time) over the WWW enabling family, friends and fans all over the world to catch your performance
  • You will also receive free of charge the same for the band you booked. It up to you to determine if you want to give the band you booked their DVD for free or sell it to them, but we give it to you without charge
Saturday Nights: You can only choose 1 of the packages below. These shows are for
ALL AGES. If you choose more than one your form will not be sent to us.
C) Saturday Night Plan 1
  • 60 minute set on your Saturday Night (you must presale at least 45 tickets)
  • Presale 45 – 49 tickets & you will receive 45% of your door
  • Presale 50 – 79 tickets & you will receive 50% of your door
  • Presale 80 tickets or more & you will receive 80% of your door
  • DVD of your entire performance and an electronic flyer enabling you to promote yourselves for this event
  • Sell your merchandise
  • Your event will be broadcast live (in real time) over the WWW enabling family, friends and fans all over the world to catch your performance
  • You will also receive free of charge the same for the band you booked. It up to you to determine if you want to give the band you booked their DVD for free or sell it to them, but we give it to you without charge.
D) Saturday Night Plan 2
  • You are the headliner
  • Headliner receives 1 hour performance time
  • Presale 60 – 75 tickets & you will receive 50% of your door
  • Presale 75 - 120 tickets & you will receive 70% of your door
  • DVD of your entire performance and an electronic flyer enabling you to promote yourselves for this event
  • Sell your merchandise
  • Your event will be broadcast live (in real time) over the WWW enabling family, friends and fans all over the world to catch your performance
  • You keep the revenue from ticket sales exceeding 30 sold by the other bands
  • You will also receive free of charge the same for the band you booked. It up to you to determine if you want to give the band you booked their DVD for free or sell it to them, but we give it to you without charge.
E) NON-PRESALE Celebrity Friday or Saturday Night:
Certain Friday and Saturday Nights are designated as Celebrity Non-Presale Nights. Performers wishing to be designated as a Celebrity Performer must submit themselves to DiMarkco Chandler for certification

Non-Presale Celebrity Package 1
  • To be booked on certain weekend nights
  • Performers designated by Palmer Room as Celebrities do not have to presale tickets
  • 75 – 90 tickets sold at the door & you will receive 50% of your door
  • 90 – 200 tickets old at the door & you will receive 70% of your door
  • Celebrity performer personally responsible for at least 75 ticket sales at the door
  • Celebrity performer may designate any number of opening bands
  • 100 + tickets sold at the door and Celebrity Performer will receive:
    ° 1 DVD of your entire performance and an electronic flyer enabling you to promote yourselves for this event
    ° Sell your merchandise
    ° Your event will be broadcast live (in real time) over the WWW enabling family, friends and fans all over the world to catch your performance

All genres of Music and all ages of performers and fans are invited.

This event is not age, race, sexual orientation, or gender, specific. We appreciate and encourage all kinds of bands to enter.

What is Required of me if my Application is Approved?

All performers must:

  • Have a Myspace profile (free) or alternative website.
  • Guarantee to meet the draw requirement
    ° This is a small requirement for show of fan base, allowing for all potential hardworking self promoting artists to apply. Applicants lacking a larger fan base can then have a support system of family and friends.
    ° Presale tickets are $10 each.
    ° Presale revenue must be turned in NO LATER than day of event

See above: E) NO PRESALE: (Saturday or Friday) CONTRACTED. You must draw at least 75 people. Band keeps 50 to 70 percent of their door. 100 + tickets sold at the door qualifies for free DVD or cost of Video $2,200.00 if the band wants it.
